I didn't know there was a Pokemon Center near where I work until someone told me about it. So I decided to check it out a while back. It was cool but they didn't have much. I thought they were going to have all these special edition video game related accessories and stuff but it was mostly plushes and souvenirs.
This is the outside, giant Pokemon. The Pokemon Center is integrated into a building so there is no special design for it. It just looks like a regular store from the outside.
This was before the games were relased so they had the covers in the front. This picture looks cool because you can see the skyline.
I found this awesome Animal Crossing candy at a 7 Eleven. It was really cool, unfortunately they already stopped selling them. .
I found these coin toy machines, or whatever they are called, and they had styluses in them so I decided to get a Pokemon one. It was 200 yen which is equivalent to 2 dollars. I got the best one, Pikachu! I didn't want any of the starters, they suck.
Since Mexico beat New Zealand 5 - 1 and 4 - 2 to assure their spot in the 2014 World Cup I decided to celebrate by going to a Mexican restaurant in Japan. It was the only one I have found so far and it seemed authentic. However the menu was very limited and they didn't have a large variety of dishes.
It was really well decorated and felt authentic. They even had rancheras and corridos playing in the background.
Anyways like I said it was a small menu, but it still it was nice to eat some Mexican food in Japan. I miss all those dishes: pozole, menudo, tamales, mole, birria, carnitas, and all that stuff!!! Man it was nice just eating refried beans on a tortilla.
This flag doesn't represent a country or government to me, it represents my family and friends. Until next time! Later!!
My wife doesn't like my jacket because she says it looks like a homeless person's jacket. I like, it but I do agree with her that the back patches are really worn out. I printed these on really crappy fabric a while ago because I didn't have anything else available. In retrospect, I should have waited until I found better fabric or something. So now I don't know what to do, either remove the patches or get a new jacket.
Enjoying life in Japan!!! Pictures of punk, people, food, places and other cool stuff from Japan!
